As a former state senator (1990 to 2004) and Senate Majority Leader from New Hampshire,  and as someone who's been deeply involved in politics for much of my life, I am pleased that Americans have come together at last to bring real change to the nation's agenda; to a vision that works for people rather than against us. Yes, we did bring new leadership to the White House, and now our work has truly begun. This change came not from the top, but from below. It must continue.
